Oh fall. I love it! I unfortunatly haven't felt much of it yet though. It's still pretty hot here. The leaves have started to change though, and out at the shop there are already some on the ground! Vega has been loving it! She runs through them and all the grasshoppers go flying then she chases them until she's pooped! Oh to be a puppy! :-)
The other nite Erik and I went to a rockabilly show in a teeny little town next to another teeny little town where one of our friends lives. We got to explore an old grain elevator while we were there and I of course had to take some pictures!
Those first two pictures are of me (obviously :-)) with the most adorable kitty in the world! Her name is Baby and she was the runt of the litter that was born at our friends house 3 months ago! As you can see, she's still so tiny! I love taking black and white pictures this time of year! Everything has a little bit of an eerieness to it :-) Hopefully we can take another fun trip next week and have some more fun pictures to share!

I woke up today with a sense of urgency. I feel like I need to live my life. And I mean that in the sense that all I do is work. I have no time to enjoy anything in life. I want to do and experiance so many things, but I was raised to not do so. I was raised to work. Work some more, and when all that's done, go ahead and do just a little bit more. But unfortunatly my parents are not the happiest, and I would hate to end up that way. My boyfriend is a very free spirt. Nobody and nothing can hold him down. Yes, he still works, but he finds time to do all the wonderful things that he can. He is one of those people who uses all of the hours in the day. So today, my friends, I have woken up with the decision that I am going to be like that as well. Look forward to many many more fun posts and see where our adventures are going to take us! :-D
Oh my. Busy busy busy. I feel like I've been running around at a thousand miles an hour! Work is fun and the girls-and boy!-i work with are super, but it gets so tiring not ever being at home. We're also in the proccess of finding an actual home, so that adds to things :) I do love that I'm busy though. I'm a person that just can't sit still so as much as I complain, I actually am glad that I'm not just sitting around-not that I probably could! :-D One of my friends at the spa 'chalked' my hair the other day. I've always wanted pink hair, and this was a really fun way to try it out!
I know the pictures aren't the greatest, but I wanted to take them before I forgot to haha. It really is a pretty fun thing to do. All you do is just wet the hair a little and then color on it with whatever color chalk you want! How fun!
I also took a few random pictures that don't really belong anywhere, so here they are just for fun...

So, my boyfriend is absolutely obsessed with cars. Old cars. I like them a lot as well, but not even close to the amount that he does :-) We end up spending a lot of time at his shop because of this obsession, and usually I get bored which results in some fun pictures!
It's kinda fun how everything looks old in the pictures! It's always like walking back into the 50's or 60's when you go inside :-) Love it! Well, that's how our summer has been going so far. Just spending toasty summer nights out at the shop, and of course out at the lake with miss Vega! She's the best! Hope everybody is enjoying the weather and people you love wherever you're at!

Hello all! It is my birthday today and I must say, I have had one of the best ones that I have had in a very long time! I woke up to my boyfriend bringing me tickets to see Mr. Jack White in August- he happens to be one of my faves! Then the boyfriend took me shopping (uh, what girly wouldn't love that?!) and then we went to the zoo! When we got home after our exciting zoo adventure, my mom had brought home cupcakes and macaroons! delish! Such a good day! I'm so very blessed to have such super people in my life :-)
This last picture has to be the best. That's my Erik for sure! Well, I hope you all have had as great of a day as I have!

Things are actually going okay! I got my new job-which hopefully means eventually I'll only have to have one...I can't even imagine how amazing that will be! But...haha I don't know what I'd do with the extra time, so we'll see if I can actually handle that :-) Erik and I put a bid on a house yesterday-they countered and they countered too high, so we ended up not going for it, but it gave me a little bit more hope :-) I just can't wait to get a place of our own! I've already got it decorated in my mind haha. Well, here's some fun lil pictures of our trip to Lincoln the other day! Enjoy!
