Today is a sad, strange, yet happy sort of day. Today my parents are putting their dogs down. They're very old, and have had such a fantastic life that I feel alright with the decision, but it doesn't make it any easier. My brother is having such a hard time with it too, and that makes it even worse. At least I have my Vega.
It's also my best friends birthday today! She's the most fabulous person in the whole entire world! I love her to pieces, I just wish that I could be with her on her big day! She lives in Tennessee though, but I am planning a trip soon!
...I know I look like a giant in that picture haha, but I swear, that girlie is teeny! :-)
Well, I hope that everyone out there gets to be with some one they care about today. It just seems like a day for that. Do something fun, hug somebody close to you :-)

Oh fall. I love it! I unfortunatly haven't felt much of it yet though. It's still pretty hot here. The leaves have started to change though, and out at the shop there are already some on the ground! Vega has been loving it! She runs through them and all the grasshoppers go flying then she chases them until she's pooped! Oh to be a puppy! :-)
The other nite Erik and I went to a rockabilly show in a teeny little town next to another teeny little town where one of our friends lives. We got to explore an old grain elevator while we were there and I of course had to take some pictures!
Those first two pictures are of me (obviously :-)) with the most adorable kitty in the world! Her name is Baby and she was the runt of the litter that was born at our friends house 3 months ago! As you can see, she's still so tiny! I love taking black and white pictures this time of year! Everything has a little bit of an eerieness to it :-) Hopefully we can take another fun trip next week and have some more fun pictures to share!
